SIMPLE PROGRAMMABLE DTMF CONTROL
- DTMF CONTROL GENERAL INFORMATION
- The DTMF codes can be from 1 to 5 digits to access a function
- There can be up to 25 DTMF codes programmed in the Linker controller
- There are 3 tones used to communicate the status of the function
and the received DTMF data
- If additional information is needed an “M” will be sent in CW to indicate
the need for MORE information
- If the command was OK with no further need for information a
“K” will be sent.
- If the command was not accepted or bad a “B” will be sent and
the command will terminate
- USER CONTROL LEVEL
- The User level is the default
- In the User level only DTMF codes programmed to work which you set at this level
will be recognized .
- The User level DTMF codes may be from 1 to 5 digits.
- May be used for such things as using the phone
patch or the touch tone pad test but can any command can be setup here
- CONTROL OPERATOR LEVEL
- All DTMF codes setup on the User level can also be accessed on this level
- The Control operator level can be accessed using a DTMF code
from the user level which you set
- The Control operator level is exited using a DTMF code which you set
- Selected functions are accessible using a 1 to 5 digit DTMF code which you set
- SETUP
- ALL functions / commands are accessible from the Setup mode
- The Setup mode can be accessed by either
- A hardware jumper on control board
- DTMF code entry if enabled.
- The Setup mode can be exited by
- Removing the setup jumper
- DTMF command entry – “exit setup” (even if hardware
jumper is still installed).
